At its height, it was the most popular expansion for The Sims 4, until it was topped by Seasons and Discover University.
Since then, pets are a feature of the game that has aged somewhat poorly. With so few interactions available and the lack of control over pets, as well as the glaring lack of variety in pets in the first place, there's a desperate need for better pets in The Sims 4.
